Our Work on the Case
Exhibit 1
This X-Ray shows that the posterior internal fixation is noted to have been fractured. The posterior fusion appears to be indeterminate in healing status.
Exhibit 2
An MRI of the lumbar spine was preformed and an examination of the inter-vertebral disc space show a prominent S1-2 disc space. Anterior interbody solid fusion and posterior screw fixation are seen from L3 to S1. Segmental spinal canal stenosis is present at L2-3 due to marked facet and ligamentous hypertrophy. L2-3 disc bulging is present. Mild Spinal canal stenosis is seen at L1-2 due to facet hypertrophy.
Exhibit 3
Surgical illustration showing a Laminectomy of L1-2 and removal of hardware. A posterior spinal fusion of T-10-L3 was preformed.
Exhibit 4
Surgical illustration showing a posterior segmental instrumentation to T-10-L5.
Exhibit 5
X-ray showing posterior hardware fusion from T10- L5 on the right with a remnant screw remaining within the right S1 level. Partial anterior fusion at the L4/5 level.
Exhibit 6
X-ray illustration showing grade 1 spondylolisthesis of L2 on L3. Previous lumbar stablilization with hardware noted.
