Janette earned a bachelor’s degree before she decided to join the U.S. Army in 2012. Janette trained to be a phlebotomist and lab technician for more than a year and earned an associates’s degree before she began working at Brooke Army Medical Center. Janette spent four years in the Trauma Center/ER, where she processed STAT lab work, managed lab inventory, and distributed blood products for trauma patients.
As a veteran of the U.S. Army, Janette earned a master’s degree in medical illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Janette studied and worked at the Rochester Institute of Technology where she specialized in anatomical 3D modeling and animation
Janette is part of a team of digital illustrators and animators at TTS. She works primarily on surgical illustrations and 3D anatomy images, but also specializes in 3D modeling/animation, 2D illustrations, video editing, and molecular visualization & anatomical reference.
In her free time, Janette enjoys drawing, playing video games, and watching movies with her husband.
